Laura Loves...
writing book reviews and working with brand partners.

Want me to review your book?
Are you a brand that would like to work with me?
As a book blogger, I consistently have a huge stack of books to get through. However, I am happy to consider reviewing and promoting new books too.

If you’d like me to review your book, please read the info below.

If you’re a brand looking to work with me on a post, there’s also information on that below.

If you’d like me to review your book, please get in touch at info@lauralove.org or by going to the contact me page.

Please include:
The title of your book
The name of the publishers
The release date
A summary/blurb of the book
The book cover
Number of pages

Please note that unfortunately, I cannot accept every request. This might be down to personal preference, or because I simply don’t have time to take on extra books right now. Please don’t be offended if I can’t accept your request right now.

Favourite Genres

I don’t have a specific list of genres that I will review; it will all depend on if I like the sound of the synopsis that you give me. However, I do particularly like to read the following genres:

Historical Fiction
Classics
Contemporary
Mystery/thriller
Literary Fiction
Womens Fiction
Memoirs/biographies/autobiographies
Essays

When will the review be posted?

I always aim to read a book within a month of it being received.

It’s hard to predict how long it will take me to read your book, but If you’ve sent me a copy of your book, I will always try and update you if it takes longer than a month.

If you’d like the review posted before/by a certain date, e.g. publication date, please let me know and I will try my best to get the review published by the proposed date.

I will send you a link to the published review, as well as post it on my Instagram account @lauralovesbookishthings and Twitter.

PLEASE NOTE: If I accept your book to review, I am not contractually obliged to review it. If I can’t review your book right now due to personal reasons, other commitments, or because I don’t enjoy the book, there may be times when I will not post a review. Hopefully, you understand that if a book isn’t for me, I’d rather not post a negative review.

I always ensure I read some of a book before making this decision, and in some cases, I will give the book a second chance later on; in such cases, I will let you know my decision.

Brands & PR
Below is a list of things that I am happy to do. I’m always happy to do these things, so give me a shout and I’ll work with you!

Sponsored/gifted content: If you’re a brand that would like to sponsor a post or send a product in exchange for publicity or a review, please get in touch via email. I’ll only accept sponsorships/gifted items that I truly love and think my readers will love too. This also includes experiences such as invites to events.
Author interviews: I often interview authors that I am interested in or whose books I enjoy. Interviews are best to be conducted via email. If you’d like to be interviewed, please get in touch. Note: I will need to ensure I’ve read one of your books beforehand as I would find it hard to ask questions if your work is completely unknown to me.

Blog tours: If you are organising your own blog tour and would like me to be involved, please let me know and I will follow the same guidelines as I stated in my review policy.
Guest posts: I will accept guest posts from both authors and other bloggers. If you are a fellow blogger who would like a blog post written for you in return, please get in touch and we can organise this. Please do not request a guest post for SEO purposes only!
